Jaguar Speed Sketch wins Shark for Sound Design in Kinsale

This year saw our first class outing to Kinsale. It was three days of entertaining talks, inspiring awards presentations and pubs full of good company, good drinks and good food.

And a Kinsale shark of our very own to bring home.

We are incredibly proud to have been recognised in the Music and Sound Craft – Sound Design category for Lucas’ work on Jaguar XE Project 8 Speed Sketch. Created by Spark44 the film was inspired by the Jaguar XE Project 8’s record-setting lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, giving artist Dave Sharp the challenge to paint his own version of the car within the time it took to complete its record lap.

It is an epic film and we thank Spark44 for giving us the creative freedom to utilize sound design to not only contrast the two different stories but let them both build to their impressive conclusions.

It was also fantastic to be involved in other shortlisted work for BBC Studios Creative and their promo for The Planets, as well Kojey Radical’s music video for 25.
